Danny, however, decided his life was too short and decided to take his relationship with Allen to the next level.</p> <p>On a private beach on the north side of the coastal inlet, <strong>Daniel Alvarez</strong> proposed to his beloved, <strong>Allen Cervantes</strong>.</p> <p>The answer? Zoe the cat has matured to adulthood and the family is glad she can now navigate stairs and play in her new cat condo.</p> <p>However, things haven’t exactly been working out between Danny and Edgar Hayden (you may recall, he was Danny’s sister Alexa’s old flame from high school). Edgar was on the same shifts as Danny, but when either of them took time off from fighting fires, they were on opposite rest schedules.</p> <p>All the frustration of being Edgar’s boyfriend caused Danny to seek love elsewhere, which caused him to have a bit of a naughty reputation around town, since he hadn’t had the time to meet face-to-face with Edgar to officially break up.</p> <p>After dating a number of townies and tourists, Danny ended up having a fling with one of the Cervantes brothers, Allen. He’s decided to move back in and take over <strong>Danny</strong>’s room since the firefighter is more often than not laying his head down at the firehouse.</p> <p>Here’s <strong>Zoe</strong>, watching curiously while <strong>Rashad</strong> puts the final touches on his bedroom, then eats a lead pipe as a reward.</p> <p>Meanwhile, <strong>Alexa</strong>, tired of looking for dating prospects, has decided to move in with her aunt across town. He attempted (unsuccessfully) to barter for his life with Death, and now resides in a grave in the Alvarez’s back yard.</p> <p>Alexa has become a school teacher since graduating college, and is now in the market for a husband, but her high school sweetheart seems to have gone a less professional route and won’t give her the time of day.
